FAQs
Why is Forest & Thread becoming Izzie?
We've rebranded! Forest & Thread was started five years ago with the intention of creating a DIY sewing company focused on physical goods, specifically garment making kits. As the company has grown and evolved, a new direction began to take shape and we realized where we have carved out a little space in this beautiful sewing community. With the relaunch under Izzie, the goal is to cultivate a brand image and online store experience that matches the end product we sell. Our sewing patterns have always been of the highest caliber, providing an excellent sewing experience as well as a meticulously finished end garment. We hope to bring the overall image of the brand to a place to match the designer level quality product we've always been known for. Forest & Thread got us here, to this point, which we are incredibly grateful for. Izzie will take us to where we want to go. And beyond, as we continue to allow this company to grow and expand into the areas that feel best for us and more importantly, the areas that resonate most with you. Thank you for giving us the chance to show you what we can do, if we just dream a bit bigger.
I previously purchased a Forest & Thread PDF pattern or virtual sewing workshop, can I locate it on the new Izzie website?
We've got you, don't worry! The Forest & Thread website will continue to operate and you can continue to access your account at forestandthread.com. If you previously made your purchase through the forestandthread.com website, then your pattern links and workshop access remains there!
If you have a specific request about transferring your pattern links or workshop access to the new houseofizzie.com website, please email us at hello@houseofizzie.com to discuss options!
I purchased a PDF pattern, but I never received an email with the files.
If you completed a purchase for a PDF pattern, then an email should have been automatically sent to the email address provided during checkout. Sometimes emails end up in people's spam folders, so be sure to double check there just in case! If you can't find the email anywhere, then feel free to reach out so we can help you out! Email hello@houseofizzie.com with your name and order details for easy reference.
